    Project 'Eureka' (2007 - 2008)

    Deployment "paper free' cross border EU/ICS compliant trade facilitation services.

     

    Project 'Eureka' was the Australian extension of the successful EU eTEN funded 'Clearview' project.

    Tradefacilitate Ltd. provided the 'Software as a Service' (SaaS) platform to 'Project Eureka' which extended the EU eTEN developed 'Clearview' intra-EU capability to enable both international and domestic supply-chains to process their cross border trade documentation electronically in a paper-free environment that is a low-cost, secure, online solution which cuts red tape and increases competitiveness throughout supply chains.

  • Australia-Taiwan ICT Cluster 'SmartTrack'

    Austrade in partnership with the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), through its Australia-Taiwan ICT Cluster and Taiwan partners under the Australia-Taiwan Strategic Framework Agreement (ATSFA), hadinitiated the SmartTrack project consortium. The consortium comprises companies, both in Australia and in Taiwan, that have agreed to work together to cooperatively develop a market solution that addresses export compliance processes.

     

    In particular through the application of automated tracking devices such as radio-frequency-identification (RFID) and Web2.0 collaborative internet technologies the consortium is seeking to provide capability to develop a system for tracking perishable goods through international freight.
