Applied Electronic Commerce (AEC)
AEC incorporated in 1996 is recognised nationally and internationally for research and contribution towards the development and application of open global e-commerce standards supporting domestic and cross border trade facilitation efficiencies within the public and private sectors.
AEC's founder and managing director contributes to the ongoing work of the UN/ECE and UN/CEFACT holding the roles of Head of Delegation to UN/CEFACT Australia, and Chair of the UN/CEFACT International Supply Chain (Buy/Ship/Pay) Reference Model workgroup.
AEC is currently engaged in managing projects; both domestic and globally, that enable SME's and developing economies to achieve 'paper free' cross border trade, and to comply with the new EU cross border legislations.
As impartial and independent project managers AEC has established and led to successful conclusion consortiums funded at a State, Federal and International level.
